The team of ETH juniors consists of students from ETH Zurich who are passionate about the idea of junior enterprises. We come from different fields of studies, have diverse interests and combine our resources to build a bridge between university and industry, between theory and practice and to gain a deeper understanding of the industrial world.

Lars Behle
Project Manager, IT
What do you do as a master’s student in Process Engineering at ETH juniors? You could ask yourself this question. Nevertheless, the answer for me is quite simple: In engineering you learn a lot about technology, but everything from customer acquisition to project management is neglected. ETH juniors acts perfectly as a bridge for these areas. For a later career as a consultant or start-up, ETH juniors is already removing a few obstacles. I also enjoy working with like-minded people and you're always tempted to perform at your best.

Jakob Manz
Project Manager, Finances
Through ETH juniors I have the possibility to be engaged in business besides my master in robotics. After my Bachelor‘s degree in electrical engineering and a gap year working in IT consulting it is the right place to gain valuable experience in project management and entrepreneurship. The work with different clients is challenging and diverse by what I get prepared very well for my career start - be it in my own startup or in a corporate. The juniors team has great team spirit and work commitment what makes it possible to create added value for Swiss KMU and SMI-listed large businesses.

Mario Blatter
Project Manager, Campus Interview
Ever since the beginning of my Master’s in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, I have been combining studies and work. This combination is ideal to apply, deepen and complete one’s skills. After having worked at ABB and Sensirion where I gained many valuable experiences in R&D, I aimed at broadening my horizon on the business side. I love challenges – be it in sports or on the job –, I am communicative and aim at successfully tackle every task I take on. This is where ETH juniors fits in perfectly for me.

Leonie Flückiger
Project Manager, Student Relations
ETH juniors offers me the incredible opportunity to work hands on in project management and further strengthen my soft skills. During my studies in Materials Science, I learnt to master problem solving and together with the strong team at ETH juniors we get to apply the competence to the industry. Within my further work in the department Students Relations I aim to strengthen the bridge between students and industry.

Severin Pfister
Project Manager, Finances
Already during my undergraduate studies in electrical engineering and information technology at ETH I was able to implement projects from theory into practice and get to know practical applications of what I had learned theoretically. After further project work while studying abroad, I now work for the ETH juniors as a bridge-builder between ETH and the industry. The direct cooperation with the users of established concepts motivates me to study the newest technologies and solutions.

Joël Bachmann
Project Manager
Besides my masters in Mechanical Engineering with focus on robotics, I work as a project manager at ETH juniors. This allows me to apply both my technical knowledge as well as my analytical skills in exciting projects. At ETH juniors there is a very motivating working atmosphere. From this, I profit greatly but I also will contribute to the team in return.

Carl Biagosch

Coming from a mechanical engineering background, specialising into the field of robotics, I was looking for a new challenge beyond the purely technical, granting me first hand insights into the business world. In September 2018 I found it becoming a member of at ETH juniors. This role enabled me to put the skills I acquired into practice and gain experience in project management. I am specifically thrilled by the mutltidisciplinary tasks that get my working with widely different industries.

Patricia Künzle

In addition to my master’s degree in Molecular Health Sciences, I wanted to take on other challenges that would bring me closer to industry and business at the same time. ETH juniors have given me the opportunity to be entrepreneurial and achieve these goals. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to work with a motivated team and learn the "know-how" in various new areas.
